How it works

Five stages between a headline and your inbox.

Nothing here is a feed reader with a summariser bolted on. AI writes one of these five stages, and the four around it are rules you can read.

Read every source
Every verified feed is polled on its own clock — the fast ones every fifteen minutes, the quiet ones every six hours.
Step 02
Work out who it is about
Each report is checked against the registry to work out who it is actually about, nicknames and misspellings included.
Step 03
Fold five into one
Reports of the same happening are clustered into one event, scored for importance, and given a confidence level from the evidence behind it.
Step 04
Write it, then check it
AI writes the summary from the attached reports. A separate check — not an AI — reads every name, number and date back against those reports, and throws the whole thing away if one of them isn't there.
Step 05
Tell you, once
One update reaches you — in your feed, in the daily digest, and by email the moment it happens if it clears your bar.

However many outlets file the same story, you get it once. Every update says how sure we are, how much it matters, and what it was built from — and you decide which of them are allowed to interrupt you.

Everything is scored 0–100 from what actually happened — never from what performs. You pick the score that is allowed to interrupt you; the default is 80.

The score comes from what happened — a signing, a release date, a hospitalisation. Nothing is ever promoted because it made people argue.

A rumour is labelled a rumour

One of three levels on the front of every update, from the evidence behind it — never from how good the story is.

ConfirmedConfidence: Confirmed. Official source, or corroborated across several outletsOfficial source, or several outlets agreeing.

AI writes it. It cannot invent.

Every summary is written by AI from the reports we hold — then checked, mechanically, against those same reports. If it says anything they don't, it is thrown away rather than published.
